Public Services & Procurement Canada is delivering a project for Correctional Service Canada (CSC) regarding the replacement of a single speed fire pump with two (2) new variable speed fire pumps at Drumheller Institution, located just South of Drumheller, Alberta. The General Contractors scope also includes the replacement/supply and installation of all required piping, pressure release valves, test headers, automated controls, water tower sensors, a compatible BMS system, nine (9) broken fire hydrants as well as normal power and emergency generator power supply to the new units. The General Contractors scope also includes the remediation of all hazardous materials in the project area in the Institutions Central Heating Plant. All related inspections, testing and commissioning are also included as more fully specified in the solicitation documents.
