Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Midlothian, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a library; for site work for a library; municipal facility; and municipal facility.
The purpose of providing Construction Management at Risk (herein after referred to as CMAR) services in connection with the design and construction of a new City Hall (herein after referred to as the PROJECT). The OWNER intends to retain a highly qualified, capable firm to act as the CMAR during the design and construction of the Project for a fixed Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The OWNER will give prime consideration to the CMAR respondent with significant, recent experience in the management of projects similar to the proposed City Hall/Library and Public Safety/Courts Buildings. Sealed submittals are to include the information requested in this package in the sequence and format prescribed. Each RFQ shall be limited to 50 single-sided pages (or 25 double sided pages) excluding front & back covers and financial information. Text shall be in minimum 10-point font & pages shall be 8 1/2 " x 11" format or 11" x 17" foldouts as applicable. This requirement shall be strictly enforced. The OWNER reserves the right to negotiate with one or more parties and shall not be obligated to enter into any contract with any respondent on any terms or conditions. Providing false or inaccurate information in the submittal is grounds for immediate rejection of the respondent regardless of what Phase of the PROJECT the discovery is made. One (1) document to be presented in PDF format in one file on 4 individual flash drives and One (1) paper copies must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the following information marked plainly on the front: CMAR - 2021-23 City of Midlothian for City Hall/Public Library & Public Safety/Courts Buildings 104 W. Avenue E Midlothian, Texas 76065 Attention of: Purchasing Agent, Cheryl Allison No bid may be changed, amended or modified by telegram or otherwise after the above time and date. A bid may be, however, withdrawn and resubmitted any time prior to the time set for receipt of bids. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality in connection therewith. No bid may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after date on which bids are opened.
