Remodeling of an educational facility in Harrison, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The City of Harrison is soliciting responses from interested General Contractors to provide pre-construction professional services and construction manager services for the construction of a new multi-purpose courts facility and remodel of an existing gym and existing classroom space. Desired project delivery will be performed using Construction Manager at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The project will be located at the site of the abandoned Harrison Junior High School (515 S. Pine Street). During the evaluation process, the City reserves the right, in the best interest of the City, to request additional information or clarification, to perform reference checks and to request a meeting with any firm submitting a response, or to reject any and all submittals. The City welcomes submittals from firms with a diverse workforce, including women- and minority-owned firm. The overall Community Center project will include construction of a new indoor aquatics facility (competition pool, therapy pool, and play pool); remodeling portions of the existing facility for classroom and office space; remodeling of an existing gym with a single basketball court and bleachers; and the construction of two new multi-purpose courts with a walking track
