Sealed bids are invited for the McNeer Hall Partial Roof Replacement Project at Richard Bland College of William and Mary, South Prince George, Virginia. This project is generally described as Tear off-of existing roof system to the metal deck. Replacement with new 90-mil, 30-yr warranted roofing system of approx. 6,330 SF and all the necessary incidentals described and/or illustrated in the Contract Documents. Sealed work papers will be required to be included in the sealed bid envelop to allow for contractor to claim any material escalation cost increases from bid date through material delivery date. Also required is one flash drive with bid documents to be included in the sealed bid envelope. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2 and Contract Security is required) for any bid regardless of bid amount. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
