Renovation of a multi-residential development in Highlands, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Housing Authority of the Borough of the Highlands (the Authority) is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors. The Authority invites the participation of Minority-Owned Business Enterprises in this solicitation and reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bidding. Proposers must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue and with the New Jersey Department of Labor as a Public Works contractor at the time the proposals are received. Minimally, the contractor shall demolish the existing concrete slab, masonry foundation and footing; remove and reinstall existing railings and precast concrete steps; repair building foundation as necessary; install new reinforced concrete piers, grade beams, CMU walls and concrete slab and other incidental work. Replacement of the existing rear entry masonry stoop at Apartment B7, Jennie Parker Manor located at 121 Waterwitch Ave in Highlands, NJ 07732 as per the technical specifications and drawings included in the contract documents.
