Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
All questions must be submitted by June 23, 2021 at 4:00 PM. The Project generally includes: The installation of an Owner supplied packaged diesel fire pump for the fire water system associated with the buildings/infrastructure at the Transfer Station Complex site. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid total. No Bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after Bid opening, and the Owner shall award a contract or reject all Bids on or before such sixty (60) day period. It is the Owner's intent to begin construction at the earliest possible date after award of a contract. The Owner reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid at its sole discretion. Beginning on the date of the Notice to Proceed, sixty (60) days or less after Bid Opening, the Work will be Substantially Complete and available for Owners use ninety (90) days after the Notice to Proceed. Provided Contractor satisfactorily completes or remedies any outstanding problems with Work, Final Acceptance by Owner shall be no more than fourteen (14) days following Substantial Completion.
