Renovation of a transportation facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The OWNER, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Regulations, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The scope of the project includes the demolition four Air Handling Units (AHUs); these AHUs will be replaced with three AHUs AHU-BR-01, AHU-BR-06, AHU-BR-09, and AHU-BR-10. Existing Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes downstream of AHU-BR-09 will be replaced and new ductwork will be required. A new exterior roll-up door and stairs will be added for maintenance access. The existing Motor Control Center (MCC) will be demolished and all circuits will be moved over to another MCC (MCC-A).
