The USPFO for Connecticut intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the relocation of a Ground Lift. The Ground Lift is a V-30-ALRS Lift-A-Lift. They are desgined for the service and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment. It was produced by Tilt or Lift Incorporated. It has a weight of approx 8,900 lbs. The service that the contractor will provide primarily consists of: disassemble and un-install the lift at 1109th AVCRAD, 139 Tower Avenue, Groton, CT; and then provide a means to transport the lift to CT ARNG Unit Training and Equipment Site (UTES) U.S. Route 1, 462 Boston Post Road, East Lyme CT 06333. The contractor will then re-install the lift in a garage at the UTES. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified as Government Furnished.
