Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Follow-up questions regarding the bid documents may be submitted in writing to ryoung@allentownparking.com by 4:30 P.M. on July 2, 2021. All responses to questions will be sent out as an addendum to the e-mail address provided by prospective bidders by July 7, 2021. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached hereto, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of 10% (Ten Percent) of the bid. The said surety shall be bound to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, both in the amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to Fifteen Percent (15%) of the Contract Price, thereafter required. No bidder may withdraw a bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof, except in accordance with the terms of PA Act 4 of 1974, latest revision. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed of the Owner and to fully complete the project within ninety (90) calendar days.
