The major items of work include clearing and grubbing, pollution control, protective cover, removal of water, excavation, earthfill, diversions, loose rock riprap, concrete grout for rock riprap, and channel excavation. This is an Emergency Watershed Protection streambank stabilization project on five sites located within the City of Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi. The sites are named: o Hi-Fi Cruisin o Campbell Loop #3 o Oceola McCarty Park o McClead @ Gordon Creek o Forrest to McClead The solicitation will be a Woman-owned Small Business set-aside. Interested and eligible contractors must be certified WOSB and registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Sealed Bidding procedures in FAR Part 14. A bid guarantee, in the amount of 20% of the bid, is required to be submitted with each bid.
