Submit all questions no later than noon (12:00 pm) Friday June 11 The Village is developing a new park on the southwest corner of Prospect Avenue and Burlington Avenue in Downtown Clarendon Hills. The park, identified as Burlington Plaza, includes berm and bioswale elements, an urban forest and other landscaping improvements, as well as decorative paving, fencing, seating and other architectural elements. The project also includes the reconstruction of the adjacent alley and sidewalk improvements. Bid security in the form of a bid bond only in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Bid security shall be payable to the Village of Clarendon Hills. The Village of Clarendon Hills reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Village of Clarendon Hills. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Lump sum proposals shall be for one general construction package.
