The City of Casa Grande reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in this Request of Qualifications, or to reject any or all responses; to be the sole judge of the suitability of the materials offered, and to award a contract for the furnishing of services it deems to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Casa Grande owns and operates Dave White Golf Course, an 18-hole golf facility. The golf course is irrigated with effluent water from two pump stations. One pump station is located on the front nine and one on the back nine. Several small lakes are near each station and provide water for irrigation. Effluent water is provided by the City of Casa Grande's wastewater treatment plant located to the west of the golf course. In approximately 2008, the City installed a central controller, satellites, irrigation lines, sprinkler heads and other related irrigation equipment for the golf course. The central controller and associated satellites have reached the end of their useful life. Irrigation lines and many of the individual sprinklers are functioning properly and have been replaced periodically over time. The City of Casa Grande is seeking a qualified irrigation construction company to install several components of the irrigation system for Dave White Golf Course. This phase of the project will focus on installation of a central control system, satellite control systems and all the necessary wiring for proper operation and any other smaller items as necessary. This will not be a completely new irrigation system. The City has previously contracted with Coates Irrigation Consultants, Inc, who have designed the system components. The construction contractor will work with Coates Irrigation and the Dave White Golf Course Maintenance division to coordinate work and schedule inspections. The Work consists of installing a complete new controllers with grounding and Central Computer System as shown on the Drawings and as hereinafter specified, including the furnishing of all Labor, Plant, Equipment, Appliances and Materials and in performing all operations in connection with the construction of the Irrigation System. It shall include furnishing and installing Electric Controllers & Electric Wire. The Contractor shall provide a Guarantee of one (1) year from acceptance for Material and Workmanship. As of May 06, 2022, contractor is still waiting for materials. A construction timeline ahs not been determined yet.
