Site work for a bridge / tunnel in East Lampeter Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to the County of Lancaster shall accompany each proposal, and be forfeited as liquidated damages should the bidder default in execution of the contract within 10 days after award of same. Bids may not be withdrawn within 45 days after bid opening. The County reserves the right to waive irregularities in, or reject any and all bids. The Owner shall award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder or reject all bids within seven (7) days from the date of the bid opening; provided, however, if the award is delayed by the required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds, easement acquisition or the award of a grant, the Owner shall reject all bids or award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder within one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening. In accordance with the Pennsylvania Antibid-Rigging Act, 73 P.S. Section 1611 et seq., a Non-Collusion Affidavit must be submitted. This project will include prevailing wage determinations as defined by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor and Industry.
