Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Willie McCool Regional Park is a unique model airplane flying field that attracts a regular crowd of users and guests. The paved runway and parking lot are in need of upgrades and repairs, and the facilities at the park are extremely limited. For the comfort of users, restrooms and lighting is needed. These upgrades will better serve constituents and will enable more use of this unique amenity. This project is included in the city's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program. As of July 22, 2022, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
