Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The GTL WWTP has 5 large horsepower effluent pumps ranging between 1,250 and 1,750 hp (4,160 V). The facility stores spare motors when the old ones fail. This quick quote is for installation services of a spare motor and possible disposal of the old motor, depending on the motor. Response time is critical and installation must be completed within 3 days of notification to vendor. The facility currently has 1 motor ready to install and dispose of old. Must have experience and references working with similar size motors and voltage. Winning Bidder shall: Electrically and mechanically disconnect motor and control wiring, and support shaft weight using chains or other methods. Attach new motor hub, flex pack (provided by owner) to new motor and install new motor. Laser align and balance motor. Connect control wiring for new motor. Ground new motor per NEC code. Test report showing motor resistance line to line and insulation to ground. Remove motor hub from old motor without damaging and provide to owner for reuse. Old motor is property of bidder. Owner's overhead bridge crane is available. All rigging is responsibility of bidder. Owner shall: Lockout/Tagout Motor Test run operation for motor rotation Contract duration: 2 years Contract renewal: 2 annual renewals Prices good for: 120 days Q & A deadline: Jun 21, 2021 5:00:00 PM EDT
