Bids must be accompanied by a certified check upon a National or State bank, drawn and made payable without condition to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a bid bond of not less than 10%. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond, a 100% labor and materials payment bond and a 10% maintenance bond. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. All work shall be performed under a NO LIEN CONTRACT. Performance and Payment Bonds (AIA Document A312) shall be required under the Contract in a penal sum of not less than the total amount payable by terms of the Contract including all items of overhead. The Contractor shall comply with all other Federal, State, County, and City requirements specified in the Bid Package. The total anticipated construction cost is $195,000-$225,000. The anticipated Completion Date for the work is May 30, 2022. The project Landscape Architect is The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC).
