Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check upon a National or State bank, drawn and made payable without condition to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a bid bond of not less than 10%. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond, a 100% labor and materials payment bond and a 10% maintenance bond. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. All work shall be performed under a NO LIEN CONTRACT. Performance and Payment Bonds (AIA Document A312) shall be required under the Contract in a penal sum of not less than the total amount payable by terms of the Contract including all items of overhead. The Contractor shall comply with all other Federal, State, County, and City requirements specified in the Bid Package. The total anticipated construction cost is $195,000-$225,000. The anticipated Construction start date for this work is February 28, 2022: The anticipated Completion Date for the work is May 30, 2022. The project Landscape Architect is The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC). All questions must be submitted via email to Brandon Riley, briley@pittsburghparks.org, with Flagstaff Hill Masonry Restoration Project clearly indicated in the subject line. No questions will be received or responded to by phone. All questions must be submitted prior to December 14, 2021 at 5:00pm ET. No questions will be addressed after that date and time. A copy of the Bid Documents will be available for review at the office of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, 317 E. Carson Street, West Tower, Suite 230, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, during regular business hours. E-mail Beth Bodamer, bbodamer@pittsburghparks.org to make an appointment to view the documents. The Owner of the Project is The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC) on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh. The PPC will also serve as the Owners Representative.
