Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kapolei, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility; for paving for a military facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
For Buildings 46 and 1784 POV Parking Areas Asphalt Pavement Repaving and Striping, and Construction of Trash Bins Enclosures and Other Project Related Work Repaving and Striping of parking areas, construction of of trash bins enclosures and other project related work at the Hawaii Army National Guard facility at Kalaeloa, Kapolei. Bidders are advised that the Department of Defense facility at 3949 Diamond Head Road is a secure facility. In order to access the property, Bidders and/or their authorized personnel shall present a current driver's license or other form of official identification (with photograph) to the security personnel at the entry gate, and shall inform the security personnel of the building and room number they require access to (State Contracting Section 369-3491). Lack of official identification or knowledge of the building and room to which access is needed are grounds for denial of access onto the property. Bidders should be aware and allow for security screening and random vehicle inspections. The state will not be responsible for late bids due to the afore mentioned reasons. The estimated cost is between $710,000 and $800,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Proposed work consists of, but not limited to the following: repaving and striping of parking areas, construction of trash bins enclosures and other project related work. Supply of all necessary materials, labor, use of tools and equipment to implement and complete, in good and acceptable workmanship, the repaving and striping of Buildings 46, Bldg. 1784, and annex parking areas. Work shall include laying of underground electrical conduits, construction of trash bins enclosures, and other project related work. Base all items of work on attached Plans and on the Scope of Work /Specifications (SOW/Specs). The principal work items shall be but not limited to the following: I. Construction work planning II. Mobilization and preparatory work III. Annex Parking crack sealing, existing paved parking surfaces seal coat application, and striping IV. Removal of one (1) Plumeria tree V. Selective saw cutting of existing pavement and milling down of tree roots VI. Selective demolition of concrete curbs and removal of steel bollards VII. Selective scraping off/excavation of top soil confined inside "islands" VIII. Existing pavement surfaces' two (2") inch cold-plane work IX. Pavement saw cutting, trench work, underground and above ground pipe laying, backfill, and compaction X. Construction of new concrete curbs and guard shack concrete slab XI. Construction of trash bins enclosures XII. New asphalt paving XIII. Parking areas striping, ADA markings, and wheel guard installation XIV. General clean-up and demobilization
