Site work for a water / sewer project in Salyersville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes construction of a new sanitary sewer force main and grinder pumps in Salyersville, KY. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held. A Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to let the contract in whole or in part and to waive formalities. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, Section 3 Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. This project is partially funded by an ARC grant award administered by CDBG guidelines. The sealed bids for this project shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "Rt. 30 Sewer Extension Project:".
