Rehabilitation of Submersible Pump Lift Station and Valve Vault Construction 2 EA Bituminous Patching and Driveway 20 TON Electrical Construction Related Pipe Construction and Restoration The work included in the project shall include the furnishing of all required labor and materials for a complete and operable electrical system as indicated on the accompanying drawings and as required by the project manual inclusive of all appurtenances not specifically shown or covered by the specifications but required for complete operation of the electrical system as defined in the documents. The work shall also include the testing, adjustment, start-up and troubleshooting of the electrical equipment and the training of the Owner's operating personnel in its operation and maintenance. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to furnish a complete and fully operating system. The Contractor shall be responsible for all details which may be necessary to properly install, adjust and place in operation the complete installation. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for additional costs which may result from unauthorized deviations from the contract documents. Lift Station 7 is located at 5600 Woodside Lane on the west side of the cul-de-sac. According to information provided by Bolton & Menk, Inc., the existing lift station wet well and valve vault, which have a bottom elevation of 923.0 feet, are supported on an 18-inch thick, cast-in-place concrete base slab. The base slab dimensions are estimated to have dimensions of about 10 feet by 20 feet, according to information provided by Bolton & Menk. The proposed work at this location consists of demolishing the valve vault to approximately 10 feet below grade (existing grade is at about elevation 948 feet), filling the void space with flowable fill to approximately elevation 938.0 feet, and placing the new valve vault on top of the infilled structure. The flowable fill depth will be about 15 to 16 feet. The wet well would not be replaced.
