Renovation of an educational facility in Denison, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In accordance with Texas Education Code as amended, Grayson College shall evaluate all proposals based on a combination of factors that the district determines provides the best value to the District including: a. Price; (45) b. Proposer's experience (years as an installer) and reputation for quality of work; (17.5) c. Proposer's proven past performance and quality of work with references of like-sized projects; (17.5) d. Conformance with proposed contract document requirements; (10) e. Proposed warranty coverage; (5) f. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference; (5) The Contractor shall be in the prime business as mechanical/general contractor and shall have been in business seven continuous years under the company submitting a proposal on this project. Specific related mechanical experience is required. All Proposers shall visit the job site before submitting proposal. The successful proposer shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond. The Bid Security will not be returned until these bonds are provided.
