A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Q & A deadline: Jun 29, 2021 5:00:00 PM EDT The Broward County Transportation Department is seeking a qualified professional consulting firm to provide professional architectural and engineering services, pursuant to the Consultants' Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), to provide the relevant professional services for the complete rehabilitation and reconstruction of the existing West Copans Road Transit Operation and Maintenance Facility. The relevant professional services shall include, but are not limited to, analysis and documentation of the existing site/structures, comprehensive design, complete construction contract package documentation, and construction administration. CCNA Solicitation: Pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 287.055, the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) applies to this solicitation. In a CCNA solicitation, price will not be considered in the final evaluation and ranking of the qualified firms. Domestic Partnership Act Certification: The Domestic Partnership Act Certification Form is not a requirement of the solicitation, but will only be utilized for Tiebreaker purposes. Conflict of Interest: Recommendations provided by the successful Vendor could result in subsequent procurements by the County for future implementation. To avoid any actual or appearance of conflict, the successful Vendor (and any subconsultants used by Vendor) will not be eligible to compete for such future services for the County (either as prime or subconsultant) resulting directly from the work performed by the Vendor's team. However, this prohibition will not apply to services or any other work unrelated to the scope of services of this solicitation. The County reserves the right to review for a potential conflict on a case by case basis. Conflicts cannot be identified without a specific identified deliverable that will result in a subsequent scope of work. A conceptual site plan was previously developed for this Project by Premiere Design Solutions, Inc. (PDS, Inc.) in Request for Letters of Interest (RLI) No. V1018717R1. The County intends to incorporate various elements of this conceptual site plan (where feasible) into the Project. Since PDS, Inc. drafted this solicitation document, PDS, Inc. is prohibited from participating in RFP No. TRN2122485P1 Architectural and Engineering Services for Copans Transit Operations Facility, either as a prime Vendor or as a subconsultant. This same prohibition applies to any subcontractor(s) of PDS, Inc. that may have participated in drafting the conceptual site plan that is included in RFP No. TRN2122485P1.
