The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government intends to include Advantor Intrusion Detection System/Access Control System (IDS/ACS) within the specifications for the subject construction project. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, inquiries received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to sole source to Advantor based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to restrict competition to a particular manufacturer. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested parties that can provide a security package that will be fully compatible and integrate with the existing base-wide Advantor Intrusion Detection System/Access Control System (IDS/ACS). Project Description: Provide a complete turnkey security package for four ICD 705 secured areas that will be fully compatible and integrate with the existing base-wide Advantor Intrusion Detection System/Access Control System (IDS/ACS) at NAS Ft. Worth JRB, TX. The new package shall include at a minimum the following: Shop drawings showing final equipment locations and wiring diagrams for review and approval by security team. Product submittals for a security equipment including but not limited to: Electronic access control panels and associated modules for all access controlled doors Electronic intrusion detection panels and associated modules for all PIRs and door monitoring Passive Infrared sensors Door Position Switches for door Card Readers Cameras and mounting hardware Glass break detectors Specific wiring for equipment selected ICD 705 and UL2050 compliant Installation Testing and integration The subject construction contract will be firm-fixed price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with the annual size standard of $39.5 million. Project Magnitude for the portion of the proprietary specifications is between $250,000 and $500,000. Under the FAR guidelines, the prime contractor must have the capability to perform at least 20 percent of the contract work with its own employees. The anticipated award date of the construction contract is 4th Quarter FY 2021. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement.
