Renovation of a residential development in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Partial interior demolition and renovation of the existing building, building additions, and associated sitework. Staff will be housed in a temporary trailer during the renovation at the Hanes Mill Road Landfill Facility. Trades in the scope of work include: Site work for building additions Demolition Replace Finishes and Painting Ceiling Replacement New Casework Mechanical Electrical Plumbing. Award date: August 9, 2021. Project start ~September 14, 2021. M/WBE goals apply 10%MBE, 5%WBE, which must be met separately. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. For technical questions regarding this project, please submit questions in writing to Darren Redfield at darrenmr@cityofws.org for response to all by addendum. End of Question Period is 5:00 PM, July 6, 2020. The estimated range for this project is between $750,000 - $1,000,000. Notice of Award: ~July 12, 2021 Notice to Proceed: ~August 11, 2021 Construction Duration: 180 calendar days from NTP Liquidated Damages: $400/calendar day thereafter *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
