Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a hospitality development in Palm Springs, California. Working plans call for the demolition of a hospitality development; for site work for a hospitality development; and for asbestos abatement for a 250-square-foot hospitality development.
The Engineers estimate is $250,000 to $300,000. The Work comprises the complete demolition, removal and disposal of existing structures and any/all miscellaneous debris and stock piles, at the Tova Hotel site located at 1875 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA. Work will include asbestos abatement of approximately 250 square feet of roof patching mastics in accordance with the Asbestos Abatement Work Plan. All concrete foundations and existing AC pavements are to be protected in place and will not be removed as part of this project. The work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of: 25 working days. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price payable to the City of Palm Springs. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A or C-21 Contractor license at the time of submitting bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents are to be directed to the City Engineer. Questions shall be submitted in writing electronically. Questions submitted after Friday, July 9, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. local time will not be accepted. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
