As of February 22, 2022, the project was awarded to Rudnick & Sons LLC. Bid amount received is $331,148.22. Alternatively, the Contractor may mail the bid package to P.O. Box 752, Okanogan, WA 98840. The City makes NO guarantee that bid packages submitted by mail will arrive prior to the bid deadline. This Contract provides for the reconstruction of approximately 520 LF of Lower Pine Street, from 3rd Avenue to 5th Avenue, including, but not limited to, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, crushed surfacing materials, hot mix asphalt, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway entrances, permanent signing and pavement markings, miscellaneous surface restoration and utility adjustments, sewer improvements (Schedule B), and other work all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Work shall be substantially complete within 50 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Okanogan, Washington. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the City of Okanogan and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Okanogan, Washington and Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City of Okanogan expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
