Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,913-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Project Summary: The intent of Owner's bid request is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete Murfreesboro Transit Center located at 324 New Salem Highway, Murfreesboro TN 37130. In general, the work shall consist of site development, and site access, civil/site infrastructure, to support construction of three new buildings, the Administration Building, the Transit Pavilion, and the Bus Garage, associated drives and paved parking on the site, and all other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The General Contractor shall provide a fully qualified superintendent that is a full-time employee of the General Contractor on site at ALL times when work on site is occurring. Performance time: The project is to be completed within 540 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Completion of this work in timely manner is of the essence. Liquidated damages apply to this project per the Project Manual. The Project Manual, Specifications, and Drawings are reissued in their entirety.
