Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves the installation concrete sidewalk; ADA ramps; pedestrian signals, poles, and push buttons; conduit and wiring; striping; signage; and guiderail modification. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PENNDOT in accordance with Section 102.01 of PENNDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, latest edition thereof. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Clarification Deadline: 6/28/2021 4:00 PM The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
