The project scope includes renovation of the existing Field House with a small 282 square foot addition. Renovations include a Locker Room, Team Room, and restrooms. The Addition is load-bearing single wythe CMU on concrete spread footings with metal joists and deck, and PVC roofing. Major system upgrades include Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical and Voice/Data. A single contract shall be awarded on the basis of the lowest and best lump sum bid. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgment made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan.
