Renovation of a municipal facility in University Park, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
*The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of University Park (City) is accepting statements of qualification for Ballistic Architectural Upgrades. The City of University Park (City) seeks a qualified architect or architectural firm to design and implement physical security upgrades at existing City facilities. The ideal Respondent will demonstrate experience with ballistic proof architecture or building hardening and successful previous engagements with law enforcement agencies and detention facilities. This is a one (1) time contract. The City would like for design work to start in time to take estimates of probable cost to committee meetings in October 2021, with construction bid selection and construction administration services taking place throughout 2022. The deadline for all questions is Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 5:00 PM CST. All questions must be issued in writing to eanderson@uptexas.org, or posted electronically. Award recommendation to council August 3 2021 The City will not accept late responses or responses sent via email or fax. The City will not conduct a pre-submission meeting for this solicitation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
