Proposals will be received for the following items of work: ATWATER WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CLARIFIER IMPROVEMENTS The Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary for improvements to the Atwater Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 6174 Waterloo Road, Atwater Township. Improvements include: removing existing flights, chains, shafts, sprockets, tracks, supports, wear strips, wall bearings, motor, gearbox, hardware including anchor bolts and replacing with new, as well as, miscellaneous items shown or subsequent to work shown on the attached drawings and specifications. The Contractor shall familiarize himself with all of Section 20, including 'Information and Instructions to Bidders' and 'Special Construction Requirements' prior to bidding. The Plans and Specifications may be mailed out to a bidder through and by AA Blueprint, contact AA Blueprint for associated mailing costs. If the Bidder selects "Bid Guarantee" Option A, the Bidder may use this Bond as the Performance Bond. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the documentation and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The bidder shall purchase the plans and a contract book to become a qualified participant before final bid submittal. All questions shall be directed to the Portage County Water Resources Department at 330-297-3670. Each Proposal must be sealed and marked "ATWATER WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CLARIFIER IMPROVEMENTS, Project No. AT-1 (20-160)". Domestic Steel use requirements as specified in section 153.011 of the revised code apply to this project. Copies of section 153.011 of the revised code can be obtained from any of the offices of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. The Portage County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. Any questions should be referred to Portage County Water Resources in writing at least 5 business days prior to the date on which bids will be taken. The bidder shall purchase the plans and a contract book to become a qualified participant before final bid submittal. For bidding purposes, the yellow forms and affidavits must be completed in full, attached, and deposited at the time requested. Each Bidder must fill-out and sign (where applicable) all yellow sheets in this Contract Book before the bid submittal on the bid opening day. Failure to comply with this shall be just cause for rejection of their Proposal. The Bidder must submit all yellow sheets to be considered as a complete bid.
