KF01-Exit Stairwell Repairs / Foundation and Exterior Stone Stairs Repairs. The curved exit stairwell shall be properly fire separated from the remainder of the building. Fireproofing shall be provided around all openings/gaps in the wall and floor slab, and gaps between the floor and wall. Fireproofing rating shall meet the exit stairwell fire rating requirements. Handrail to be removed and replaced on both sides of the curved stairwell and shall be as per the latest National Building Code. TIMELINE: Project has not been publicly tendered. Project may be followed once approved to bid. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
