Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Heflin, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of the Heflin Tank Coating and Repairs will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: Clean and Coat Interior and Exterior of the following tank: Industrial Park 500,000 Gallon Elevated Tank. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 180 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
