The OWNER of the project is the Tifton-Tift County Airport Authority. The Engineer/Architect for the project is Holt Consulting Company, LLC. The approximate extent and character of the work is generally described as follows: RUNWAY 10-28 CRACK SEAL, REJUVENATOR, AND RE-MARKING PROJECT This project generally consists of marking removal, crack repairs, pavement rejuvenation, and re-marking or Runway 10-28. The existing Runway 10-28 is 3,807' long and 75' wide asphalt runway with a blast pad on the Runway 328 end. The crack repair and rejuvenator would lengthen the life of the existing pavement a few years longer to continue use of the runway. Also remarking the runway will increase the safety of the airfield with all the markings being clearly visible. There will be no prebid conference for this project. The time allowed for Substantial Completion on the Runway 10-28 Crack Seal, Rejuvenator, and Re-marking Project are as follows: Construction contract time for Runway 10-28 Crack Seal, Rejuvenator, and Re-marking Project, if awarded, will be completed within Thirty-Three (33) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. There is no DBE participation goal for this project. By submitting a bid/proposal under this solicitation, except for those items listed by the offeror on a separate and clearly identified attachment to this bid/proposal, the offeror certifies that steel and each manufactured product, is produced in the United States (as defined in the clause Buy American - Steel and Manufactured Products For Construction Contracts) and that components of unknown origin are considered to have been produced or manufactured outside the United States. Offerors may obtain from Holt Consulting Company, LLC, lists of articles, materials, and supplies excepted from this provision. The Tifton-Tift County Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interests.
