Request for Sealed Proposals Pursuant to the Georgia Local Government Public Works Construction Law, O.C.G.A. 36-91-1 et seq., the Tift County Development Authority is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the design-build of the construction of a 105,000 square foot expansion of an existing distribution center built in 2017. All proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria detailed in the proposal package. Each proposal must include a bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total contract price indicated in the proposal to be submitted. The Tift County Development Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities. Scope of Work & Services to be Provided by the Design/Build Firm: Project Design/Engineering/Permitting Soils Testing Civil Design/Engineering/Permit Documents Structural Design/Engineering/Permit Documents MEP Design/Engineering/Permit Documents All permits/fees as required by federal, state and local laws, regulations and authorities Total Number of Days to Complete Entire Project: One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days.
