Renovation of an educational facility in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of Aug 30, 2021, the project was awarded to NAES Power Contractors, Inc for $94,722. Notice to Proceed 8/26/2021. In general the work consists of: This is an approximately 227' high radial brick chimney. In 33 general, the work consists of performing exterior masonry repairs consisting of 34 tuckpointing approximately 1,000 linear feet of masonry joints and replacing 35 approximately 100 units. Repair interior breech. The steel tension bands shall be cleaned, 36 repaired, caulked and recoated. The existing ladder, exterior platform, handrails, grating, 37 and supporting frame, cleanout door and frame shall be repaired, cleaned and recoated. 38 Wire Brush and Paint Electrical Conduit. Replace existing LED aviation obstruction light 39 units with new IR LED units. A Siloxane Waterproofing coating shall be applied to the entire 40 exterior stack. The interior of the chimney shall be inspected as describe in the 41 specifications Work must be completed by September 30, 2021. All work must be completed by October 11, 2021.
