Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
For Fueling System Improvements Maintenance/Central Stores Facility In general the work consists of: Removal and replacement of gasoline dispenser, dispenser island, underground storage tank (UST) fuel pump, fuel and vent piping, and miscellaneous appurtenances. During fuel piping replacement, a tank system site assessment (TSSA) will be conducted by the A/E. Demolition activities include the demolishing and removal of concrete slabs, fueling island, spill pad, tank controller and switches. The final demolition limits will be restored by bituminous asphalt pavement or reinforced concrete The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements Failure to visit the site or failure to examine any and all Contract Documents will in no way relieve the successful contractor from necessity of furnishing any materials or equipment, or performing any work, that may be required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
