Requirement: The goal and objective for this contract work is to investigate the existing well conditions which includes treatment and testing, and replacement and repair of system components to improve the drinking water quality and quantity from two vertical wells at High Bridge Campground (HBCG) and one vertical well at Battle Creek Campground (BCCG) on the Lassen National Forest. If well investigation concludes a well is not suitable to be serviced, there is an optional pay item for well destruction. Location: High Bridge Campground Project Location: On Warner Valley Road (Plumas County Road 312) on North fork of Feather River. Five (5) miles west of Chester, California from junction with Highway 36. Map Reference: Township 29 North, Range 6 East, Section 27; Lat/Long: 40degree 20' 19" North, 121degree 18' 19" West. Battle Creek Campground Project Location: Highway 36 approximately 2 miles west of Mineral, California and 38 miles east of Red Bluff, California; Map Reference: Township 29 North, Range 3 East, Section 26; Water system well house - 40degree 20' 53" North, 121degree 37' 42" West. Period of Performance The period of performance of this contract is from 06/01/2022-09/30/2022 Post Award Conference A post award conference with the successful offeror is not required. Key Personnel (a) The Contractor shall assign to this contract the following key personnel: A Licensed California contractor with a C57 Well Drilling, C36 Plumbing, or D21 Machinery and Pumps certification license, shall perform work on-site and is considered key to the project's successful performance along with past performance on similar projects. (b) During the first ninety (90) days of performance, the Contractor shall make no substitutions of key personnel unless the substitution is necessitated by illness, death, or termination of employment. The Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days after the occurrence of any of these events and provide the information required by paragraph (c) below. After the initial 90-day period, the Contractor shall submit the information required by paragraph (c) to the Contracting Officer at least 15 days prior to making any permanent substitutions. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
