PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and services necessary for design, pre-construction, construction, and closeout of the project. The project includes either the relocation or remodel of approximately 60 existing telecommunications rooms (TRs) and 1 data center to bring them up to the Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) IT standards while IT services remain operational. The DB shall provide a turn-key project for these rooms in accordance with VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT) and EHRM infrastructure standards. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation.
