Site work and renovation of a civil project in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of performing all work required to construct complete, in place, and ready to operate the following: 1. Approximately 2,650 LF of 8-inch sewer rehabilitation by cured-in-place pipe method. 2. Approximately 15 manholes to be rehabilitated by spray lining. 3. Reinstatement of approximately 36 service connections by robotic pipe liner core, brush, and cured-in-place pipe lining. 4. Sewers require pre-installation and post-installation CCTV inspections. Lateral launch capabilities will be required. 5. All associated pavement restoration, landscaping, erosion and sedimentation control, traffic control, and appurtenances. Special note regarding bid submission: Due to the current pandemic and building restrictions in place, bidders are cautioned to allow additional time for delivery of any mailed bid submissions including any mailed overnight delivery or guaranteed to be delivered by a specified time. All bid submissions must be received prior to the specified date/time, regardless of delivery method. Preliminary pricing will be read aloud for any vendor submission received prior to the listed deadline, with each vendor identified by name. Official Notification of Award, including bid tab, will be released once the solicitation has gone through evaluation and recommendation of award. No bids will be received or accepted after the above specified time and will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the bidder. The bidding Contractor must be licensed in appropriate classification before such bid will be considered and shall comply with applicable codes, laws, and regulations. The successful bidder will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or reject any or all bids. Hamilton County Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) procedures will be part of bid evaluation.
