Site work and paving for a civil project in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Reference Number NB-21-005-B The City of Miramichi will be accepting tenders for the Downtown Newcastle Upgrades, as per our specifications. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all tenders and the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Contractors shall base their schedule on receiving a letter of award on July 23, 2021. The Contractor shall commence the work any time after August 3, 2021. The fixed completion date for substantial performance of the work shall be October 15, 2021, The Contractor shall advise the City on the supply and delivery of traffic signals, poles, arms, controller and other related equipment by August 10, 2021. If'there are significant delays In the manufacturing & delivery of traffic poles, arms and other related equipment, the contractor shall install temporary traffic control signals by October 15, 2021. There shall be no additional payment for the supply and install of temporary traffic signals. This item consists of the removal and salvage of existing traffic signs and posts, supply and installation of new traffic signs, posts and associated accessories/hardware in locations shown on the Plans or as directed by the Engineer. Work shall also include reinstallation of existing street name signs with new hardware.
