The work generally consists of pavement mill and overlaying 2.58 miles of public streets across 4 subdivision within the City of Ramsey. The work is estimated to include: * 46,471 square yards of bituminous pavement milling, o 5,114 tons of bituminous pavement, * 457 square yards of bituminous pavement patching, * 506 lineal feet of concrete curb & gutter, * 222 square yards of concrete walk, and * Miscellaneous other improvements. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on July 27, 2021, and that work may begin on or about August 2, 2021. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. The original bid bond must be delivered to the City within 2 business days after the bid opening. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder.
