Site work for a civil project in New Madrid, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project will address the citys inadequate drainage infrastructure by installing a storm water box inlets to enable surface water to enter the drainage network. The project will also include a concrete wet well, pumps, controls and a force main that will deliver storm water under pressure at existing inlet that has an outlet pipe with sufficient gravity flow capacity to transfer the water to its designated location. The Contractor hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days thereafter. The Contractor further agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of $750.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in Paragraph 15 of the General Conditions.
