DESCRIPTION: The City of Port Orange is soliciting sealed Bids for WRF Operations Building expansion including the demolition of existing concrete and carport adjacent to the administration building, and including construction of 1086 SF building expansion along with miscellaneous electrical and instrumentation improvements. The expansion will add two additional offices, one conference room, new IT/AC room and an ADA compliant women's locker room. All Bidders must be a commercial entity licensed to do business in the State of Florida and perform the services identified herein and properly registered and licensed to provide the goods or services identified in the scope of work, by all applicable state and local agencies. All Bids are solicited and shall be made pursuant to the Code of Ordinances, City of Port Orange, Chapter 2, Article VI, Division 2, Section 2-263, and all Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions thereof. A Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety or a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Port Orange, Florida in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposed bid shall be submitted with each bid.
