The Washington Parish School System intends to purchase one or more new 64x56 modular 4 classroom wing buildings. GENERAL CONDITIONS Please mark clearly on the bid envelope "Bid-New Modular Classrooms, Attn: Lacy Burris". Place your state contractor's license on the outside of the bid envelope. Any bid mailed that is not certified shall be returned to the vendor un-opened. UPS and Federal Express are acceptable means of delivery. Bids are to be submitted on the bid form furnished by the school system. All bids must be firm prices, free of escalator clauses. Any bid on any item shall include a unit price and a total price. If there is any discrepancy between the unit price and the total price extension, the unit price shall be considered binding and the total price adjusted accordingly. The successful bid price for these items shall be in effect for 30, 60, or 120 days, contingent on the option bid, from the date of the award by the Washington Parish School System. All bids arriving after the above stated date and hour will be returned to the bidders unopened, as well as bids that are not mailed Certified-Return Receipt. Bids via fax or email cannot be accepted. A bid may be withdrawn by bidder if done within 48 hours of bid opening, but only for patently obvious, unintentional and substantial mechanical, clerical, or mathematical errors. All prices shall be turnkey, including all delivery, set up, tie down, and installation charges to the campus locations listed below. There shall be no disruption in the classes at each campus. Each modular building must be set in position relative to the ramps and walkways at each campus. Taxes shall not be included in the bid. Act 1029 of 1991 exempts the system and the schools from all Sales and Use Taxes. The awarded modular classroom buildings must be delivered no later than 120 days from the order date. The Washington Parish School System reserves the right to reject any and all bids, adjust quantities on any or all items by increasing or decreasing, and to waive informalities. This solicitation is being funded through ESSER funding, and will be subject to certain federal laws and requirements as more fully set forth in the bid specifications.
