Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Point, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The Scope of Work for this project consists of resurfacing along Harris Street, Bryan Avenue, R.N. Martin Street, Hogan Road, and Dogwood Drive. Construction services will include variable depth milling, milling to a maximum depth of 1.5 inches, and milling to a maximum depth of 2 inches on select streets in accordance with the plans. Services will also include patching and leveling with Incl Bitum Matl & H Lime, and 9.5 mm and 12.5 mm Superpave for the surface course for each street. All existing ramps shall be upgraded in compliance to ADA standards. Damaged drainage structures shall also be reconstructed throughout the project. The project constraints are displayed in the final plans set. The location for this Work / Project is: Harris Street, Bryan Avenue, R.N. Martin Street, Hogan Road, and Dogwood Drive, East Point, Georgia 30344. Any and all goods and / or services / Work rendered by the Selected Provider(s) pursuant to this solicitation or any resultant contract(s) and / or agreement(s) shall be provided in accordance with any and all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines, laws, and regulations. If requested to do so by the City, the Selected Provider(s) must provide references and assurances to the City that confirms their abilities and capabilities to meet the requirements, terms and conditions of any resultant contract award(s). The awarded Contract shall commence upon the date of the formal execution of the Contract by the last signing party, and / or upon the receipt of the City's Purchase Order by the Selected Provider and shall remain in effect until the specified services have been concluded and accepted as the same by the City. Deadline for submittal of all inquiries is twelve o'clock (12:00), noon, on Friday, August 27, 2021. Any response to inquiries shall be made by the City in writing to all Providers by numbered addendum. No verbal responses shall be authoritative. The City shall be the sole judge of the bid submittals and the resulting awards and its decision shall be final. Also, the City reserves the right to make such investigation as it deems necessary to determine the ability of any Provider to perform the work or service requested or to provide the goods required. Information the City deems necessary to make this determination shall be made available by the Provider. Such information may include, but shall not be limited to, current financial statements; litigation histories; verification of availability of personnel and inventory; and past records of performance. All Prospective Providers must submit a Bid Bond from a Surety Agency authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. The Bid Bond must be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Prospective Provider's total Bid Price. It is preferable that the specific dollar and cents amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Provider's total Bid Price be written out within the body of the Bond, and that the Bond not simply state "ten percent of the bid amount". The Selected Provider must be able to provide the City with a Payment Bond and a separate Performance Bond from a Surety Agency authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. Each of these bonds must be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the City's total Contract award amount.
