Site work and paving for a civil project in New Boston, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Work includes installation of 12-inch, 15-inch, 24-inch, and 36-inch sanitary sewer, sanitary manholes, 12-inch storm sewer, storm sewer manholes, storm sewer catch basins, a pump station, a forcemain valve vault, 6-inch sanitary forcemain, and all associated street construction. The Work also includes the installation of a flow meter and structural lining of sewer and manholes. Construction of this Project will be funded in part with funds made available from the Federal Government through the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Section 594 program. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for construction projects receiving Federal aid including, but not limited to, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the Davis-Bacon Act as amended. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid or a Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidders maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination as published by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination in accordance with the provisions of the Davis Bacon Act. The higher wage rate determination shall apply. Bidders shall comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity as amended. The Village of New Boston, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 110 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Refer to Article 19 Instructions to Bidders for Additional information concerning timing of Award of Contract. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
