The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DEPARTMENT), Division of Preconstruction Services, Traffic and Safety Section, is seeking professional engineering design services for reconstruction of the remaining intersection signal systems in the Northern Region and the City of Fairbanks. A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately August 2021 through December 2025. Cost of these professional services is expected to be greater than a $1,000,000. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD number 711 or 1-800-770-8973. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package. Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. As of August 25, 2021, the owner is in negotiations with an engineering firm.
