The Project consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances, and incidentals as required to properly design, fabricate, construct, inspect and test the following construction items : Construction of an approximate 330 ft. deep pvc cased public water supply well, replacement of an existing onsite well column pipe, and associated appurtenances. Funding for this project is provided by the Texas Water Development Board Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. "Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of federal law, including federal appropriation acts and Section 1452(a)(4) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42U.S.C. 300j-12(a)(4), as applicable." Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive/deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. All questions must be submitted on www.civcastusa.com before 3:00 PM CST on Monday, July 26, 2021. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 150 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
