North Huntingdon Township is seeking bids from qualified firms/individuals for a project that will consist of upgrading the HVAC system at the North Huntingdon Township Town House. Any questions in regard to the bid specifications are to be directed to Matthew Butch, McKim & Creed, mbutch@mckimcreed.com Project consists of upgrading the existing HVAC systems at North Huntington Township Town House. The North Huntingdon Town House is a three story, 24,000 square foot, mixed use building which houses township government offices and the police department. The HVAC Systems upgrades consists of the following: Replace eight existing constant volume 4-pipe air handling units, with new 4-pipe single zone VAV air handling units with new. Economizer mixing sections will be added to four of the units ducted to Roof hoods located on the roof above. VAV type diffusers will be added to spaces within each zone. One new 4-pipe single zone VAV air handling unit will be added to the Maintenance room. One new Energy Recovery unit will be added for the air handling unit serving showers and locker rooms. The existing air-cooled package 75-ton chiller will be replaced with a new air-cooled package 60-ton high efficiency, high turn down chiller. The chiller will be piped in a variable primary configuration with new pumps. Install a new web based DDC Control system. The exiting cast iron boiler will remain. The boiler will be re-piped in a primary/secondary arrangement with new variable speed pumps. The existing ductwork, diffusers, and piping will be reused.
