Renovation of an educational facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the work consists of furnishing and installing two air handlers with emergency power backup to pressurize stairwells X00B and X00D from the 19th floor to the third floor. Provide two heating-only air handling systems to temper the air to 40 degrees F. Extend ductwork and diffusers throughout stairwells. Core stairwell landings and provide stairwell landing reinforcement as necessary. Provide emergency generator to replace existing for back-up power to air handlers. Provide crane or other means to deliver mechanical equipment to rooftop. Base Bids will be received as a single lump sum bid for: 3) Plumbing; 4) Mechanical (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning); and 5) Electrical. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted Plumbing- H.J.
